CRAFTING!

As you may know, if you read www.giftbagsnmore.blogspot.com, that I am in Florida for a couple days.  Minny and I came down here for the interview.  My adopted "mom", who has the Gift Bags n More blog, had her grandson, Ronnie, and Minny do a Christmas craft.  They decorated a clear bulb to put on the Christmas tree.

Since "mom" is a die hard University of Michigan fan, she had Ronnie and Minny cut blue and yellow tissue into small squares.

Here are the squares of tissue paper along with the clear bulb.  You will also need starch.  This is what is used to attach the tissue squares to the bulb.  That is a small jar of starch shown above.

Next, Ronnie stuck his finger in the starch and rubbed the starch on the bulb.  Then he took a square of the tissue and applied to the bulb and then took more starch and rubbed it over the tissue square.  He did this with each tissue square until the whole bulb was covered.

Once the bulb is completely covered, you let it dry.  We used a small dixie cup to set the bulb in for drying.

As it dries the tissue will not be transparent.  After it dried completely, we added a couple stickers and a ribbon bow at the top.

As you can see this is a very simple craft for your children to try.  I just let Minny Moose watch as I felt she was a little too young to work with the starch.  To tell you the truth, I thought we would have starch everywhere!  So she watched while Ronnie made the Christmas bulb.  "Mom" loved it!  I will have to make one with Minny when she gets a little older and make one of a New Hampshire school!

Minny and I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We did and happy we could enjoy it with family!

I hope you enjoyed the tutorial above.  I am now leaving for my trip to the Far East.  I will be going to China, Japan and the Philippines!  I will try to blog while on my trip, but I may wait until I return.

Until next time........................

THANKSGIVING ALREADY!!

You are pulling my leg!  I can't believe it is already Thanksgiving in a couple days!  Where did 2012 go???

Thanksgiving is such a wonderful time of year!  You know, we moose have our own Thanksgiving in the woods.  More like the original pilgrims had way back when.  You've heard their stories, right?  Probably similar stories that we moose have heard from our forefather mooses.  Yup, we eat lots of food on Thanksgiving.  Not food like you humans have, but moose food.  I won't go into details.  Just take my word for it, okay?

Minny Moose is so excited for Thanksgiving.  She can't wait to see all her cousin mooses so she can run and play here in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.  Right now there is hardly any snow, but you never know what Thanksgiving Day will bring in the way of snow.  Minny would love it if there was snow for her and her cousins to play in.

Thanksgiving is a day to be thankful.  I know I am thankful for my wonderful daughter, Minny.  She is the LIGHT and LOVE of my life.  She keeps me very busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way.  She is the reason I work as hard as I do promoting and selling my Moose Mills Products.

If you haven't tried my Moose Mills Products yet, would you please consider doing so?  I have told you before that the Magic Hand Therapy is the best!  And my Mud Foot Balm is an Awesome treatment for your tired feet!  And with Christmas not far off, why not consider getting that special someone of yours some of my products.  I would appreciate it.

Remember you can go to my website:  www.moosemills.com.  You can order online or you can check the list of stores that carry my Moose Mills Products.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving now, and I will talk to you again very soon!

THANK GOODNESS!!

Hello my fellow Americans!

Do I sound presidential enough?  That is one job I would not want to have!  So glad that I am a Moose!!!

It has been a long haul with all the campaigning going on for like forever!  I am sure you are glad you have seen the last political advertisement!  As you know I was at one of the first debates early on.

Don't I look good?  They all were nice enough to let me pose for a picture with them.  Good times!!!

I would like to introduce you to another one of our good customers who carries Moose Mills Products.  The Mangy Moose, located in Freeport, Maine, has been selling our products for a while now.  I am told that it is one of the favorite gift stores in Freeport.  They are located at 112 Main Street.

Stop by there, ask for Susan, and tell her that Mr. Moose Mills sent you.  Then let me know if she was surprised.  I love surprising people!

And don't forget to use my Moose Mills Magic Hand Therapy for your hands and my Moose Mills Mud Foot Balm for your feet during this cold time of year.  You will love them both!  You can order them at www.moosemills.com.  Or go to a gift store like The Mangy Moose in Freeport, Maine to get them both.  A list of gift stores carrying Moose Mills is on my website.

Until next time..................
