HAPPY TUESDAY!!

Good Morning all my Moose followers!

I hope you had just the best Memorial Day weekend ever!  I want to thank all who have ever served or are now serving in our armed forces.  Thank you for your sacrifice to help make the United States one of the best countries in the world to live in!

Minny and I had a very nice weekend.  We spent most of it roaming the mountains of New Hampshire.  What better place is there than to be in New Hampshire?

Since Memorial Day is really the start of summer, what better way than to have a Summer Special for Moose Mills!  You can save $3 by buying my combo pack of the Moose Mist SPF30 Sunscreen and the Moose On the Rocks Aloe Spray in my Value Pack.
My sunscreen is a must to use any time you are out in the sun.  My aloe spray is great for use on bug bites and on any burns.  You can buy this value pack at www.moosemills.com.

Well, I am busy working on some new promotions.  A Moose's work is never done!

Until next time...........................

Meet Minny!

I thought it was time for you to see what my daughter, Minny, looks like.  So here is a picture of the two of us.

Isn't she cool!  I love her sunglasses.  She thinks she is just the coolest in those sunglasses.  Don't we look good?

We love to roam around the great state of New Hampshire!  There is so much to see and do!

We have had a lot of rain lately, but no rain today.  It is sunny out and warming up nicely.  Perfect to explore New Hampshire.

Until next time...............................

Hello from North Carolina!

Hello There!

Here I am in the great state of North Carolina!  Now remember, I told you that I travel a lot!  I am by myself on this trip.  Minny stayed home with family.

These Blue Ridge Mountains are just beautiful!  The mountains are cooler, thank goodness, as it is 90 plus degrees at the bottom of the mountains!  A bit too warm for this ole' moose!  I like it cooler.

Did you know that the Blue Ridge Parkway spans 469 miles across Virginia and North Carolina.  It was started on 9/11/1935 and was constructed in sections.  The last section was completed in 1987.

This cabin pictured above is on the Blue Ridge Parkway east of where you get on the Parkway north of Winston-Salem, NC.  This is called the Puckett Cabin.  Orelena Hawks Puckett lived here during the latter part of you 102 years.  She was a midwife and assisted in over 1,000 deliveries of babies with the last one being in 1939.  Sadly, none of her own 24 children lived beyond infancy.

There is a lot more history along this Parkway and I want to see as much as I can.  But I wanted to let you all know about this great Parkway that is visited by more people than all the state parks in the U.S. combined!

Until next time.....................
