CUPCAKES!!!

How have you all been?  I have been just great and busy, busy.  Busy working and trying to fit in time with Minny Moose.

So Minny wanted to make cupcakes.  She got the idea of decorating the cupcakes as moose.  I thought okay let's see what we can do.  So I asked "mom" if she would help, and as always she said "Yes".

I told "mom" that we could just use a cake mix as it would be easier for Minny.  But we did make the frosting from scratch. 

Here are the cupcakes waiting to be decorated.

Here are the "Eyes" for the moose.



                                                We used chocolate Twizzlers for the antlers.



We tried to unwind each Twizzler, but couldn't.  So we cut them to size and then cut them in half.

We used these to melt to cover the minnie marshmallows for the nose for the moose.

 

We melted the wafers in the microwave.  Then we dipped each marshmallow in the melted chocolate.

Here is the first finished moose.  The nose could be a little bigger, but a regular marshmallow would be too big for the cupcake.

And of course, Minny Moose, tried to sneak in the picture of this moose cupcake. 

 

 

Minny and I had so much fun making these cupcakes.  You should try it with your children.  It is a nice "bonding time" with your young ones.  Minny had a blast and of course, she kept sneaking tastes of the chocolate frosting.  She had more on her than was left in the bowl!  But that is what being a child moose is all about. having fun!!

MY AWESOME HAND THERAPY

I spent my weekend in the beautiful mountains of New Hampshire with my daughter, Minny Moose.  We roamed the mountains, had a picnic and had a wonderful weekend.  Minny is the light of my life and I love spending time with her.

Here we are up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.  You don't see much of Minny and me, but we wanted to showcase the mountains and not us.  Aren't the mountains beautiful?

Well I am busy assembling gift bags to fill the orders we got at the New England Made Gift Show last week.  A Moose's work is never done!

BACK FROM THE SHOW!

I am back from the New England Made Gift Show in Sturbridge, Massachusetts.  What a beautiful little town just across the border from Conneticut. 

On the way into Sturbridge, of course, "Mom" took the wrong turn and went down past the show place.  But she finally figured out how to get back to the show.  And then on one of the trips out to get supplies, "Mom" took a wrong turn again!  With the help of "Auntie Sharon", they finally figured out where they were going!  I could have told them the correct way to go, but they NEVER listen to me!  It was like I wasn't even in the car!  Geesh!!

It was a very nice show.  Met a lot of new people and had some great fun at the show.  They liked my products.  "Mom" put together some gift bags to sell and they were a very BIG hit!  Sold a lot of those bags!  One of the bags had a Moose doll with the Moose Magic Hand Therapy and Cool Hand Moose Hand Sanitizer and the other bag had the Moose doll with the Moose Magic Hand Therapy and Moose Mud Therapy for your feet.  Neat idea "Mom"!

Here I am at the show.  I think "Mom" and "Auntie Sharon" did a nice job on decorating the booth.  They worked hard in getting the booth ready for the show.  "Auntie Christine" came also to help at the show.  I have a nice "adopted" family.  Don't know what I would do without them!  Thanks ladies for all your hard work!

I didn't have time to explore Sturbridge.  It is an old colonial city settled in 1729.  On our drive through town (remember, Mom got lost) I did see some beautiful old homes and churches.  Sturbridge also has one of the country's oldest and largest living history museums.  It is open year round and called Old Sturbridge Village.  I will have to come back for a visit.

I am off to spend time with Minny.  She is growing up so fast.  Until next time..................
